Walking and Talking with Abba

Give me purity Abba Father
In thought and word and deed.
Help me to be more aware
Of other’s pain and need.

Let brotherly love continue
You say in Hebrews 13:1.
I cannot feel that kind of love
Unless I feel it through Your Son.

Help me focus on the walk
I take with You this day;
Allowing the fruit of the Spirit
To flow outward in every way.

In closing, Abba, I want to say
Thanks that you are my Friend.
I love you oh so very much
Praise sweeps my soul again.
